I am trying to wrap my brain around Seminary and how to best teach certain areas of it. I'm looking specifically for ideas of ways that your Seminary teachers helped you with the Scripture Mastery portion of Seminary. Did you do anything a little different from the ordinary when trying to learn the scripture mastery scriptures? What was your favorite type of devotionals? Any other fun things you did in the learning process?

One of my teachers put the Scripture Mastery scriptures to music. It was awesome! My ward Relief Society recently did this for the music moment in RS and it was easier then I thought to put the mastery scriptures together! Good luck!
My in-laws are here this weekend, and they do scripture mastery--one said that they gathered together on Sundays once a month to rehearse and remember as well--they made it some sort of a social.
Their teacher had them come up with rhymes for the chapters and verses...it helped them to find the reference...Helamen 5-Built to Survive, etc. And then they drew pictures to go with the rhymes.
They set Friday's aside as a fun day--they didn't have a lesson, but instead memorized the scripture mastery scriptures and played games and had breakfast parties.
Also--I know that Dad sent me a whole bunch of stuff before...maybe on one of your trips to Utah you could raid his stuff! :)
Tom (Mikes brother) said his favorite devotionals and lessons involoved object lessons.
Hope this helps a bit! I'll keep pushing these youngsters for ideas!
Love ya! Good luck!

Have you checked jennysmith.net yet? She has object lessons, ideas specific to seminary, and other ideas you can use for teens. Good luck!
I would love to tell you ideas from my youth, but I can't remember any.
Did you guys hear that there will be a class reunion here on Labor Day weekend?
Love ya!
