It's Friday! Yea – no Seminary to study for tomorrow so I decided to update before I start sewing for the day. I am two weekends behind, Oops! Labor day weekend found us traveling. Actually on Tuesday the 26th we went to Billings for the usual week but then on Thursday, left from Lovell, WY and traveled to Kaysville, UT to spend the night with my parents. On Friday morning Lynn went into SLC to pick up his new church car (Family Services trades in the cars every 50,000 miles. He traded in a Toyota Camry and got a Toyota Rav4. It is a nice car! Then on Friday afternoon we went to Blackfoot to spend the weekend with our kids and Lynn's parents. Saturday morning we went to the EISF parade. I love the tradition of the parade. I am one that is huge on tradition. So even though I was a little disappointed in the parade this year, I'm sure every chance I get I will go to the parade because it is tradition and it brings back so many happy memories. Then David and Jessica and the kids and Rachel and Clint and Hailee and Lynn and I spent a couple of hours at the fair. I love the fair and again the tradition of it. It was kind of a rushed day and OH SO HOT. I definitely didn't get my fill but was happy to be able to go for a couple of hours anyway. Then in the evening we went to Lynn's 30th high school class reunion. It was fun. I knew a fair amount of the people. Thank goodness that Mark and Kathy were there or I would have been totally 100% bored. But Lynn loved seeing his old friends and so I was happy. Sunday we spent with the kids again – all except Jeff – he was in California for the NASCAR races with his boss. I love any time that we have our little people together. They are the best in all the world. I am such a lucky, blessed grandma!!!! I don't think I've said lately how much I love being a grandma – so there you have it again – I LOVE BEING A GRANDMA!!!!!!!!!! We came home fairly early on Monday, Labor day, because I started Seminary the next day. It was a grand weekend spent with the grandest of people.
