We finally got Lynn's folks to come back for a visit. We had a lot of fun while they were here. They came on Labor Day weekend. They arrived on Thursday late in the day. On Friday we rode the tour train - a must if you visit our fair city. Then we went to lunch and then home to chill. We watched a movie that night. Got up on Saturday and went to Great Falls to the Charlie Russell Museum. That was the one thing that Mom wanted to do. It was very insightful. I had no idea really who Charlie Russell was except an artist. In the basement of the museum is a children's play area so we let our children come out of us and took pictures.
Sometimes you just have to forget that you are getting older and seize the moment! We then went to dinner and headed back home - taking an out of the way road. Lynn and I would rather take different routes and see all of Montana when possible. So we picked a road off the map that was supposed to get us back home but...yea we got lost and ended up - after driving for more than an hour - back on the freeway - way less than an hour from where we started but it was fun anyway. Some some pretty parts of the country side!
Sunday we went to church and just had a lazy day - they left Monday morning. It was such a fun weekend. We love exploring Montana with whomever will come and explore with us.
